Automata Practice Development (APD) provides automation-as-a-service to accounting and tax firms, building and operating automations that handle sensitive client data on their behalf. Security is foundational to how the service is built and run: per-firm isolation—dedicated repositories, credential vaults, and automation environments for each firm, with no shared credentials or data stores—encryption in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest, MFA for all personnel, and mandatory independent code review with separation of duties.
APD maintains a written information security program with independent oversight and a defined incident response plan, aligned to the FTC Safeguards Rule in support of APD's client firms' compliance obligations. Program documentation is available under NDA upon request.
